Patient Representative Group

The Aims of the Patient Representative Group

In September 2011, Porter Brook Medical Centre set up a Patient Representative Group (PRG). The aim of the group was to give the patients an opportunity to meet, discuss the services on offer and make sure we are responding to the needs and concerns of our patients. Several patients now meet with members of the practice team to support the practice and help improve patient services.

We are currently recruiting new members for the PRG. There is no guarantee that expressing an interest will mean that you will automatically join the group, as it depends on member constitution at the time. We already know many of the different types of patients who come to us and want to ensure we get a good spread in the group. If you would like to speak to a member of the PRG or interested in becoming a part of the PRG, you can email us at prg.porterbrookmc@gmail.com. Or fill out a form below.

We would be especially interested to hear from patients from different ethnic backgrounds, or anyone who is a carer or has very young children.

The group would like to contact patients on occasion by email and/or text so that they can obtain the views of the widest group of patients possible. We would like to obtain your email address and mobile phone number to do this. Please complete the Patient Contact Form to provide your consent for this.
